The Danfoss VTC511 Series Thermostatic Valve Operator is a solid state, normally closed, two-circuit control valve that operates by modulating the power of a standard solenoid operator via an external set point. This versatile switch has two sets of electrical connections, offering a wide range of possibilities to meet almost any control requirement from basic on/off applications and one-stage reheat to multiple cycling and timed sequences. Valves are available with 1/8-, 1/4-, 3/8-, or 1/2-inch pipe connections.

The VTC511 is a direct replacement refrigeration control valve for older styled refrigerators. This 5/3 position valve has an OP (Open Pressure) rating of 140 Degrees F and features a yellow stem. Dimensions are 1 3/8" diameter x 1" high. It includes a mounting flange design with two 12mm mounting bolts on top and two flat shoulder bolts on the side, and a mounting hole pattern to match most refridgerator setups.
