The Deltana 24SB5 Heavy Duty Surface Bolt / Strike (Antique Brass Finish) is designed for strength and durability. This Deltana surface bolt is made from copper zinc alloy material with a bright antique brass finish. It has an adjustable striker.

With an antiqued brass finish, the Deltana 24SB5 24 in. Surface Bolt with Strike has a 5/16 in. diameter. The complementing hinge bar set is sold separately. It features heavy duty construction so it will hold even heavy doors open for convenience and safety, especially useful when working around the house, garage or workshop.

The Deltana 24SB5 is designed for heavy duty applications. This surface bolt comes complete with an attached strike plate to fit 5/8"-diameter (15mm), 2 1/8" (54mm) backset solid doors.

The second in a series of stepped bolt/strike sets, the Deltana 24SB5 complements doors from 1 3/8" to 1 3/4 " in thickness. The bolt installs flush with the jamb side and the strike for this set mounts on the jamb side or face using an existing mortise. A fastening shoulder provides positive alignment (no wedge needed) and ease of installation. The burglar-resistant bolt is secured with two 3/4" combination-type screws which are hidden by the escutcheon plate.

This surface bolt is 24" long and made of solid brass. It has a heavy duty design and is polished to a high shine. Surface bolts are used on the upper hinges of double doors and French doors to secure the door at the top.

Heavy duty surface bolts provide a high level of security for interior doors. They are often used on external doors to bar entry once the door is locked. The heavy duty surface bolt includes 2 interchangeable hardware pieces that are concealed behind the door, making them virtually impossible to remove without the proper tool. The surface bolt is 24 inches long.
