This Stay Adjuster or lock is designed to be used to secure casement operable windows manufactured in the 1960's through present day. The acrylic stops found on the two post stop assemblies were often broken when adjustment was required due to pinching when up against the ADJ3 stay when adjusted all the way up. Stay adjusts are commonly used for window and door applications. This casement stay adjuster will add a finishing touch to your window hardware in a bright brass finish. It works with a ball-bearing detent system in a dovetail channel.

The 10 inch stay adjuster is used to adjust the position of a casement window in an open position.

Stay adjusters keep wavy windows and doors aligned in the open position. Several casement stays operate in unison via a center-mounted screw and pivoting lever. The lever is normally grasped in the hand and adjustments made by means of a thumbscrew. For easy window and door adjustment; fits 3/16"-diameter (5mm) or 1/4"-diameter (6mm) casements; accepts 3/32" (2.5mm) jam cleat for double-acting stays; chrome finish lets you add a decorative accent to your home.

Stay Adjusters are used to hold the Vertical Stays of a casement window in an out position for proper maintenance of the window. They're designed with heavy duty zinc die-cast housing with integral 4 pin design. The two stays extend from the vertical mounting plate approximately 5 3/4" into the window opening. These stay adjusters may come with rounded or square ends, and different lengths of horizontal arms depending on your needs.
