Our 6" 4-Leg Square Bumper is a slip fit clamp on. Our bumpers are designed to assist in installation of your baseboard if the wall or ceiling is out of plumb. Our baseboard bumpers will act as a guide to hold your baseboard up while you shim underneath or nail it into place. When using our 4" round (BDSS40-4R) and slotted (BDSS40-6) baseboard bumpers, please use a small hammer to tap the bumper down properly.

Base Bumper Moldings protect your walls from the "bangs" and scrapes of daily use. Also, base bumpers with top caps provide a decorative element to the wall when combined with our standard baseboard moldings. Base bumper moldings are made in the USA and available in primed brass, white primed, or painted finishes.

Our Bumpers are made with 100% recyclable rubber blended compound. They provide resistance to abrasion, reduces vibration, are flexible for easy installation, and can be polished to provide a like new appearance. Specially shaped to butt against the bottom of baseboard coverings, they allow only enough room for doors and drawers to operate smoothly. To maintain clean surfaces free of imperfections, their special geometrical design reduces surface contact and helps prevent nicks and scratches that deteriorate the surface of baseboards.
