The hinge pin stop is designed to be installed onto the door hinge between the plate and the frame of a door. A pin is inserted through this small device to adjust the degree of opening for the door. This product is made of solid brass or stainless steel with a spring made of zinc-coated malleable iron. The tightness of the spring determines how far open the door will go.

Hinge pin stops designed for use on architectural and millwork doors. They are designed to prevent the hinge pin from passing through the hinge rim and, thus, eliminate the effort required to remove a protruding hinge pin.
