The Field Controls 1151 Draft Inducer is a replacement draft inducer for existing Tjernlund D-3 and D3 -5 through 8 Inch models. It is designed to fit popular brands of gas or oil fired appliances that were originally equipped with a Tjernlund D3 or D-3 draft inducer and is compatible with direct vent gas and oil appliances only.

The D3 draft inducer will run a gas fan or an oil filled furnace. If you need to replace an old draft inducer, this is the part you are looking for.

This Draft Inducer is designed to provide a complete solution for installations featuring Type B venting (1 – 1/2" NPS) and a 5-8" (actual size) gas or oil draft inducer.

The Field Controls 1151 is a draft inducer for 5-8" pipe. This draft inducer will work with both natural gas and liquid propane. The 1151 has an operating pressure of 90psi. The diameter of this inducer is 1 2/4". The 1151 has 4 adjusters to control the flame height. This draft inducer is a round draft inducer that uses 1/8" BSPP female thread.

The Draft Inducer attaches to the venting pipe and redirects the air from the draft hood to the outside, creating a negative pressure inside of the home. This preserves comfortable levels of negative pressure through the rest of the house, even as cooking is going on.
