The damper accessory swivel ball joint is used to connect the damper extension arm and the damper bracket assembly. It is sold in multiple quantities, usually a minimum of 10. The part number for a single joint is 7557750.

The genuine Johnson Controls, Inc. accessories are designed to replace the thermal expansion device on the following line of Dominion® Pro Series unitary air-cooled commercial rooftop units – ACC200, ACC300, ACC400, ACC405 and ACC500. The joint is designed as a replacement to the original door jam register that uses 2 aluminum swivel balls and one nylon joint. These parts are sold in multiples of 10 pieces.

The swivel ball joint allows the damper to swing away from the air outlet in a complete circle without hitting the frame, allowing the damper body to pivot downwards for access to the cyclone duct.
