The Don-Jo EL225DU 2-3/4" Full Lip Strike with 2-1/2" Extended Lip Dark Bronze Finish deadbolt is 1-3/4" wide, features a case hardened top cylinder, and has a UL Listed SC5X keyway. This deadbolt with three point locking and strike is ideal for use on exterior doors especially in areas where the risk of theft or vandalism occurs.

The Don-Jo 2-3/4" Full Lip Strike with 2-1/2" Extended Lip Dark Bronze Finish has been tested and passed ANSI/BHMA standards.

Don-Jo full lip strikes are designed for 3/8" to 1-1/2" thick jamb material and come with 2-1/2" extended lips that allow you to apply the strike tight against the door face. The striking plate has a smooth radiused edge on the underside for easy lock stile installation and has a length of 12". The face of the strike measures 2-3/4" wide by 1-5/8" tall, giving it a clean look and matching traditional lock stiles.

The beauty of the extended lip strike (EL) models is in their simplicity. The Don-Jo EL series of full lip, surface mount, deadbolt locks are designed for use with a strike plate on the edge of a door and with no internal door prep. To install these locks you simply remove the existing pin plate, attach the don-Jo EL strike to the edge of your door with either screws or nails (depending on finish selected), slide your deadbolt into place, and reattach your doorknob/lever to complete installation.

These full lip Architectural door strikes are designed to into the existing case moulding for a clean, finished look. The 2-1/2" extended lip strike offers a stronger hold and prevents potentially dangerous wandering doors.
