Lock Technology has designed the DUAL PISTON BRAKE PRESS 770 based on many customer requests for an easy-to-use, entry level brake press.

The LTI770 "Dual Piston Brake Press" is the latest multi-tasking tool from Lock Technology Instruments(LTI). This innovative device combines a brake press and rotary swage into a single powerful machine. The result is a high capacity, production-ready compact machine. The LTI770 Machine is designed to handle all types of automobile discs, drums and rotors from 4 inch to 18 inch diameter.

Our LTI Dual Piston Brake Press has a ram that is 50% larger than the classic LTI, but with technology to make it 50% more efficient. Featuring our unmatched pressure banding and new patented piston locking system, the LTI 770 is a must for high production shops that mass produce brake drum kits.

The LTI Dual Piston Brake Press (770) is the most compact double-piston brake in the market. It is composed of a one piece cast aluminum base with cast iron ram and cylinders. The ram and cylinders are powered by a twin propane cylinder operating at 100 PSIG, with independent up/down adjustment for the two pistons. This press was designed to take full advantage of the compact size that could be achieved in a twin cylinder machine, while maximizing the force that can be generated. The maximum heights are 3" for the single piston and 6" for the double piston at 50% stroke.

The LTI770 Dual Piston Brake Press is ideal for a variety of maintenance applications, including heavy duty service stations, dealerships and fleet shops. This powerful brake press has the capability of up to 25 tons of force at 90 PSI – equipped with a gauge system that alerts you when you're going to reach the maximum limit. It also features automatic cool down, which prevents the pistons from overheating during the pressing process.
