VAC SHUT DOWN SWITCH

The Vac Shut Down Switch cuts off electric current to roller-type vacuum pumps in the event of a hose connection break and/or pump overload. The unit shuts down pump operation instantly, protecting the driver and apparatus from danger and increasing equipment life. The Vac Shut Down Switch is equipped with a standard 10 Amp single pole breaker.

Englander's PU-VS vacuum switch is a replacement for the original vacuum switch assembled in 1948. This vac shut down switch is a two terminal wire sealed unit which provides a low power drain to indicate whether or not the vacuum pump is on. This part has been completely tested and guaranteed to function properly. It is recommended that this switch be changed once every four years in order to prevent any malfunction of the pump being caused by a worn switch.

Keep your system clean, and save time and money with this Vac Shut Down Switch by Englander. This electrical component allows the user to turn off a vacuum system quickly. When used with suction-assisted air control components, you can stop an air system in less than 1/2 second.

If you have a wet/dry vacuum, or any other tool that runs off of a vacuum source, this shut down switch is designed to save your electrical components from burning out. It is built out of high quality, high heat rated brass and it fits standard 1/4" vacuum ports.
