The 24 VAC Power Head for the 2 Way 13A00 Zone Valve activates and deactivates an auxiliary heating circuit, and is only compatible with an electrically operated zone valve. A separate White-Rodgers device must be used to control the thermostat in either the primary or auxiliary branch of the zone valve.
This 24 VAC Power head is for White-Rodgers 2 Way 13A00 Zone Valve with Conduit Hub. The Power head mounts to the valve and has a lead that runs through the conduit hub to supply power to the valve.
The White-Rodgers 24 VAC Power Head is designed for use with the White-Rodgers 2 way 13A00 Zone Valve. This power head operates at 24 Vac and is fitted with a 3-wire plug. It includes a 4 in. conduit hub that allows for the conduit to pass through the wall, floor or ceiling.
The Power Head is a 2-Wire 120/240 volt AC power supply with a fixed output that can be connected to an operating 2-Way 13A00 Zone Valve. The Output Current is set at 0.5A (RMS) 250VAC. The Power Head delivers power to the valve via flex conduit from up to 66 feet (20 meters) away.
The White-Rodgers 24 VAC Power Head, part number 13A00, is a power head that provides 24 VAC power to White-Rodgers 2-way and 3-way zone valves. It is compatible with any White-Rodgers zone valve (except 24 VAC control models).
The 24 VAC Power Head is included with all white-Rodgers 2 Way Radio Valve systems. Features include: Field replaceable neutral wires, Transformer protection, Current limiting with soft cut-off.
