The FAL 1990-EO series is designed as an exit-only device. Applied in pairs or more, these units can be used in a variety of applications. The pair of FAL 1990-EO P28 Exit Only security devices travel together until they are separated by the applied force that activates the stainless steel locking mechanism which allows the springs and rods to retract and expose the concealed vertical rod. The concealed vertical rod provides the outward release force required to open doors or gates requiring an exit only device.

The 1990-EO P28 EXIT ONLY applies to locations where the exiting path is not immediately visible to the public. This product must be installed as a vertical rod in a concealed location above eye level. The product closes an exit with the force of gravity. When obstructions prevent the door from closing, this product will engage and close the door regardless of its weight.

Our FALCON 1990-EO P28 Exit Only kit is intended for the required exit door installation in existing buildings. These exit only kits are recommended when existing doorway openings are too small for a fire/panic bar and when a horizontal rod or handle would be hazardous. The lightweight FALCON P28 Entrance Handle is made of cast brass, with an overall height of 44?. It is installed on the door jam or frame, projecting inward from the face of the opening.
