This white EAC cell uses two stages of filtration to capture 99.97% of the particulate present in your air. It has no mercury so you can breathe easy knowing this screen contains no unsafe particles, no oil for longer life, and is colored white so it blends in with the AC system for a lower profile.

The non-ozone depleting R-600a refrigerant charges to the first high temperature compressor cycle during the cooling season. This helps protect the compressor from high temperature and improves efficiency. The sensitive electronic control board is protected in the 2nd stage of the Honeywell EAC cell from the high current associated with startup conditions that may damage other EAC cells. The Honeywell EAC cell performs as a full load automatic reset circuit breaker, protecting control circuits from overload conditions. Features a built-in thermal switch for safe low ambient operation. Note, new units come fitted with R290 refrigerant.
