The 120vDSI Deaerator was designed to be used on double-jacketed, degassed glassware that can be safely immersed in water. After removal from the annealing furnace, the flask with its contents is placed in this deaeration vessel. Then a vacuum is drawn and the flask is allowed to stand overnight. Upon removal of the vacuum, any gases dissolved in the glass are removed and released through the vent, permitting initial filling. This process may be repeated up to five times to remove gases remaining from previous annealing cycles.

The Fenwal 120VDSI DC-powered load/shelf inverter is specially designed for use in aquarium and terrariums. The 120VDSI enables the user to run a wide variety of aquariums, heaters, lighting, pumps, and other accessories. The fan-cooled design provides excellent cooling for continuous operation. A large oversized heat sink dissipates heat and prolongs converter life. Transformer taps are provided on the 120VDSI so that standard 12VDC power supplies can be connected.
