The 280-P2ARW15A000 P2A hard hat offers an improved ratchet (RQ) for optimum strength and durability. It also includes a ventilating suspension, and Kevlar® weaver grommet for use with a QC Attachment. A pivoting suspension ring adds comfort and safety. The P2A Hard Hat has a ratchet suspension and a permanent ratchet chin strap to reduce headband pressure. The Ratchet Chin Strap is a self adjusting belt which allows the user to loosen or tighten the hat without removing it. This design saves time, eliminates heat stress, increases wearer acceptance and is more comfortable.

The Fiber-Metal 280 P2A hard hat has a ratchet suspension to provide secure fit and the fabric shell provides additional comfort and durability.

The P2A is a lightweight fiberglass hard hat that conforms to the ANSI/ISEA A1 and MSA Z87.1 standards. It meets the requirements of ANSI S12.6-1995 for impact protection. This hard hat is made of injection molded fiberglass with a low-sheen, non-glare finish, and is designed with a ratchet closure that makes it easy to adjust for a perfect fit. The low-profile shell reduces interference with vision and hearing aids.

The Fiber-Metal® P2A hard hats have the ANSI Z87+ and CSA standards for personnel protection. The non-conductive liner is made of fire retardant nylon 6.6 blend fabric. It provides resistance to heat and flame and the smooth finish fabric meets the requirements for arc flash hazard ratings.
