The patented internal suspension system provides added protection for the head and neck from lateral shocks by minimizing the effect of any blows.

The P2A Hard Hat, Ait Rated Class C and provides protection against impact (Anvil 15 ft. lbs.), penetration (drop hammer 10lbs), and electrical hazards.

This Fiber-Metal hardhat is designed to be the ultimate in high visibility personal protective equipment, and is visible up to 1 mile away. The P2A hard hat features a universal suspension, code 4.1 ratchet suspension. It has a NVD (Night Vision Device) band fitting for those needing night vision compatibility, and an adjustable lamp holder for those who need this capability. Meets ANSI Z89.1-2009 and CSA standards for Type 1 and Class E.

The Fiber-Metal 280 P2A Hard Hat can withstand high impacts in most environments and is ANSI Z89.1-2003 [AS/NZS 1216:1997] certified to be approved for use in the Australian workplace. The hard hat features an up-draft ventilation system, which pulls air through ventilation holes on the shell of the helmet and through the various layers of padding in the suspension lining of the hat to prevent heat build-up.

The P2A is our most popular style, with radiant color inks designed for durability (this item is not intended for applications involving overhead heat). The visors are manufactured to the latest ANSI Z89.1-2010, Class C, D and E standards. The ratchet suspension allows easy adjustments around the head providing a comfortable fit and added safety. The ratchet suspension also makes it easier to assemble an even tighter fit after multiple uses.
