The SCB Air Booster is a compact, yet powerful 8" air booster designed to enhance the airflow of higher performance air handlers. The AB-8 model outputs 425 CFM, and is ideal for use with up flow or down flow installations.

The Field Controls AB-8 8 in. air booster allows you to boost the airflow in your ductwork by up to 40%. This unit will fit 8-in in diameter round metal duct as well as flexible duct work. The AB-8 takes an inlet velocity of 1000 ft/min and increases it to 1500 ft/min. The AB-8 is light weight, weighing just 2.4 lbs., so it needs minimal clearance between the duct and ceiling and can be mounted vertically or horizontally.
