It can shut down within 14 seconds after detecting low oil pressure. This allows engines to be started and operate for an additional 14 seconds without requiring engine-wipe or excessive cranking, which could result in damage to the engine. It is salt spray tested at 1000 hours of operation, and it can operate between -4°F (-20°C) and 176°F (80°C). These features make this product extremely useful in harsh environments.
