The CR101Y1 24V SCR starting contactor is a single-pole, single-phase, induction-run type starting contactor used for 150 to 400 Hz 50/60 Hz commercial and industrial applications. It is rated for intermittent duty and has a very low inrush current and low splice factor. The DC circuit voltage is 24 VDC and the AC load voltage is 150 to 400 Hz nominal line frequency at 10% undistorted sinewave.

This contactor will start up to 1HP motors via a heavy duty lock-in coil which is self biasing. It has a single screw terminal and full overload protection. The unit is housed in a steel body and mounted on a stainless steel base for durability. The contacts are interlocked to prevent arcing and the automatic resetting thermal overload protector will trip before overheating could occur providing dependable overload protection.
