The UP15-18B5 is an open end pump unit available in three sizes. It is designed to circulate heat transfer liquids in heating, cooling and process applications. The pump can be used with a variety of liquid, gas and steam media depending on the end connection and the fluid temperature. The termination of the pump discharge at the bottom provides a good discharging angle for pumping solids through a strainer. Material separation may occur with certain types of solids exceeding 4mm in diameter, resulting in an obstruction to flow and potential premature failure of the motor.
Up to 18.5 GPM (65 l/m) with pumps from the UP series. The optimum is 15-18 GPM for most applications with this pump.
