The UPS-50/160 circulator is a high performance pump designed for heating applications, suited for use in both residential and commercial water circulation. Its cast iron body offers exceptional long-term corrosion resistance even in hard waters. For added protection the pump is full enclosed with a left or right discharge.

Circulating pumps use a variable frequency drive to control pump output. The pump can be run motor on or motor off to produce circulation. The UPS-50/160 model is for 1-1/2 hp systems. This Grundfos Circulating Pump has a cast iron body and suction cup feet. This model 96411613 is 230V 3 wire single phase, 60 Hz, 1-ph with NEMA L21-05 plug and an 8 ft cord and wire lead with male end.

The UPS-50/160 Circulating Pump is a particularly powerful pump in comparison with others of the same system pressure or well water pressure. It has been developed especially for installations where a larger flow is required (e.g. applications requiring high volumes or pressures)

The UPS-50/160 circulator is designed for installation in systems with static head up to +1600 ft (490 m) and flows up to 110 gpm (420 l/h). The pump can be used at full power all the time or it can be variably controlled with a variable frequency drive.

The UPS50/160 is Grundfos' compact, highly efficient, direct-injected cast iron pump with a long product life. This 2-phase pump provides high pressure at low energy consumption. It is equipped with two specially designed MagnaGrip impellers that work together to build pressure. The first impeller increases process pressure, the second circulates the water without additional compression for maximum efficiency. EPA Drain Clean Out (DCO) indicates internal parts that can be removed through the discharge nozzle for quick and easy cleaning of the pump tank.

Designed to withstand the harshest climates and conditions, this Grundfos UPS-50, 1-1/2 HP (1.5 kW) 240V circulating pump is pre-wired and built with a cast iron body. It comes with a 3/4" Quick Connect inlet and an 8' power cord as well as two thermal protection trip elements. The UPS-50/160 circulator is UL listed for outdoor installation and features an NSF rating for potable water applications.
