The H551A requires that your shower have a minimum of 5" clearance, and you pair it with a faucet that has a minimum height of 4-1/2".

The Sloan H-551-A 5-1/16" long tail assembly is designed to fit 2 1/4" drain pipes. This finish is polished chrome.

The Sloan H55-1A tailpiece assembly fits on the flange of the faucet stem to control the water flow. The tailpiece is made from plated brass, and it is compatible with Sloan 25396 faucets.
