Danze Kitchen Faucet Parts

Here is a guide to Danze kitchen faucet parts:

Kitchen Sink Drain Assembly

The Danze kitchen sink drain assembly connects the water supply line from your house to the kitchen sink. It also has a strainer basket that catches debris. If you are replacing this part, make sure you get one with an anti-siphon design so there is no risk of siphoning when connecting the new supply line.

Kitchen Faucet Spout

The spout connects the hot and cold water lines coming out of the faucet. You can choose between a single or double hole to control the flow of water. If you have a single-hole kitchen faucet, use a 1/2 inch diameter spout. If you have a double-hole kitchen faucet, use a 3/4 inch diameter spout.

Kitchen Faucets

Danze has many types of faucets available:

Danze Single Handle Faucet - This type of faucet has only one lever. When you press down on the lever, the water turns on. When you release the lever, the water turns off.

Danze Lever Handles - These are similar to single-handle faucets, but they have a second lever that controls the water's temperature.

Danze Pull-Out Faucet - This is a very old style of faucet that was popular back in the days of plumbing. They are still made today however they are not as common as other styles of faucets.

Danze Pull-Down Faucet - This faucet is installed under the countertop. It is connected to the main water supply line and it has its valve.

Kitchen Faucet Aerator

The Danze faucet aerator is a small tube that sits inside the faucet. It helps reduce the amount of pressure in the water stream, and the chance of scalding.

Kitchen Faucet Sprayer

The Danze faucet sprayer is a nozzle that is attached to the end of the faucet spout. It is designed to help direct water away from the user’s body.

Kitchen Faucet Diverter

The Danze pressure balance faucet diverter is a valve that lets you control the flow of water going through the faucet. For example, if you want to run the dishwasher while washing dishes, you would open the diverter valve.

Kitchen Faucet Filter

The filter removes impurities from the water by passing the water through layers of material.

Kitchen Faucet Shut Off Valve

The Danze kitchen faucet shut-off valve is the mechanism that shuts off the water supply to the entire house if there is a leak.

Kitchen Faucet Hose Bib

This is a fitting that attaches to your kitchen sink drain. It prevents any leaks around the sink drain.

Kitchen Faucet Elbow

The elbow is a short section of pipe that connects two sections. Elbows come in various sizes depending on how much bend is needed. The most commonly used size is 90 degrees.

Kitchen Faucet Tee

The tee is a short piece of pipe with an opening at each end. Ties connect the ends of the tee to the pipes that need to be joined.

Kitchen Faucet Adapter

The adapter is a device that fits over the end of a faucet spout so that it will fit into a standard wall outlet.

Kitchen Faucet Wand

The wand is a long flexible tube that extends from the spout of a faucet. Wands are useful when you do not want to reach for the faucet.

Kitchen Faucet Ball Valve

The ball valve is a circular disc that can be turned to allow or prevent the flow of water. Ball valves are easy to use because they require no tools to operate them.

Kitchen Faucet Cartridge

The Danze faucet cartridge is the part that contains the actual valve. Cartridges are available in different materials such as brass, plastic and ceramic.

Kitchen Faucet Stopper

The stopper is a type of device that covers the hole where the faucet spouts out of the sink. Stoppers keep dirt and debris from getting into the spout.
