Installation

Tools

  • Screwdriver
  • Adjustable wrench
  • Allen wrench

Step 1: Shut off the water supply to the sink. Remove the old Izak faucet.

Step 2: Connect the flexible spray hose to the spout on your faucet. Ensure to direct it correctly through the hub.

Step 3: Align the clip on the hub with the hole in the back of the spout, and turn it back and forth until it snaps into place.

Step 4: Locate the end of the hose. Connect the sprayer to it. Tighten the connection with your hand. The Delta MagnaTite Docking ensures the sprayer is firm in place as you work.

Step 5: According to the material and thickness of your countertop, you may require a gasket and an escutcheon to fix your faucet.

Step 6: Put the faucet into the countertop through the mounting hole.

Step 7: Beneath the sink, put through the U-shaped mounting bracket over your faucet shank and ensure the supply tubes fit inside the bracket. Use the Allen wrench to tighten the nut onto the end of the shank against the basement of the counter. Position the faucet properly over the sink before you tighten it entirely.

Step 8: Put the hose weight over the hose and gently push its end onto your faucet outlet. Place the clip over the connection to secure it.

Step 9: Connect the water supply tubes. There is a mark at the ends of each line; the red tip denotes the hot water, whereas the blue marks the cold water. Connect each line to the corresponding water supply.

Step 10: Turn the faucet handle to “full-on,” then turn the water supply on. Allow the water to run for about 40 seconds to clear any debris that may be in the lines. Turn off the faucet to check for leaks. If any, tighten all the connections using the wrench. Do not overtighten as you may damage your faucet, causing more trouble.
