A blade is an elongated cutting tool, usually in a shape similar to that of a metal blade used for sawing wood and other materials, but much thinner. It differs from a knife in that it has a continuous cutting edge all the way around the blade. This allows a metal blade to be used for pushing or pulling rather than just stabbing or slicing as with a normal knife.

Honda HRX mower blades are made from high carbon steel and have been precision milled for a precision balance to make them ultra sharp and long last. The top choice is the Toro 53-0939, it is 6 in. dia. with 4 pcs of teeth individually inserted and hardened. It's offset tooth pattern and large gullet make this blade ideal for mulching thick, springy grasses as well as cutting through moderately sized debris and leaves.
