This is a brand new, not remanufactured or rebuilt OEM Honda engine bolt. It has been re-ground and tempered from the original part, but it has not been hardened, tempered or as hardened as the original bolt had been. The OEM engine bolt had been manufactured by an OEM casting facility to meet Honda's specs in hardness, heat treatment and yield strength. This replacement engine bolt will function exactly like the original, fit the same hole and come equipped with the same length and diameter threads. Its only difference is that it isn't quite as hard.

The bolt can be used with any of the four bolts shown in the exploded view drawing. The bolt is also available in other variations, as described in the section "Bolt".
