The stem button (stem assembly) is connected to the valve and connects to the bag assembly. The stem assembly includes the selector lever and a stem with a bushing connected to it. The bushing fits into the center hole of the rear cover. A set screw secures the stem button in place on top of the valve seat.

The stem button (also known as a valve handle or actuator) is the part of your water bag that you push to release the water. It includes a stem and a set-screw that anchors the stem into the valve.

The button is used to control the temperature for the gas valve. This stem button should be replaced if it is worn or not working properly. Set screw is included with new stem button kit.
