It features a switching capacity of 1A @ 51 mOhm and 70 VAC/VDC, Sensing Frequency of 10KHz, 1000VAC RMS Insulation Resistance, 600VDC Switching Voltage, AC Overload Protection with automatic reset and internal shunt trip. The unit has a Pins-in-Line Construction for vertical mounting.

The R8228D1018 is a contactor relay that uses two DPST NO (normally open) contacts. With the electrical dipole on one side, this is primarily used in inductive applications. The R8228D1018 also has an active low circuit which enables the user to switch resistive loads of up to 5VDC. This relay is basically used in any application that uses NO contacts only.
