The HONEYWELL 42780 12" ROUND REGULATING DAMPER is a compact and versatile damper that allows you to quickly adjust the rate of air flow through the damper as it is opened and closed. This measure of control can help you effectively modulate your room’s temperature in line with your needs, without overdoing or under-doing it. Designed from heavy duty steel with UV coating, this unit has the durability and strength for long lasting use.

Easy to use round dampers have a safety trigger that prevents the damper from being opened until the handle is unlocked. Available in 6", 8" and 12" blade widths. The smaller blade widths are used with small flues and where the furnace duct does not extend all the way to the exterior wall. Installing a round damper allows you to control your heating or cooling system from one location in your home. Dampers may be painted to match your interior decoration and blend into your home's décor.

The Honeywell 42780 Round Damper uses a c-face mod support arm to make the damper rectangular thus allowing it to fit in most 12" return air ducts. It utilizes a tangential seal on the shaft and has a bi-directional blade that lets the damper drop when air is going out and rise when air is coming back into the HVAC system.
