The AM-1 Series 1LF with flow control lever and manual reset safety switch provides users with the ability to set and maintain temperature using either hot or cold water. The thermostatic mixing valve is installed inline between the heating and cooling source(s) and the load, above the primary shut off valves.

The AM-1 models of thermostatic mixing valves are fully proportional, normally closed thermostatic mixing valves that can be used for water or glycol applications. The back-check feature is a load relief feature that prevents overheating of the line when the pump is running at its maximum capacity. This allows the pump sector to burn through without damage.
