The Honeywell 420-I Analytics DIGITAL CONVERTER is used in indoor HVAC applications to bridge the gap between conventional thermostats and smart home solutions. This 2-wire to 4-wire converter is designed to ensure safe comfort control while enhancing your smart home system with built-in ENERGY STAR® qualified commands.

With Honeywell's new, easy-to-use 420-I Analytics Wireless DIGITAL CONVERTER you can transmit data to a PLC or PC at communications speeds up to 1Mbps in 16 bit CRC format with variable packet length up to 2048 bits. The converter comes with a powerful 620mW transmitter that fits directly onto the side of the actuator encoder and eliminates the need for a separate antenna.

The Honeywell 420-I Analytics DIGITAL CONVERTER reads the output of pressure switches and thermocouples, sampling up to 100 points per second with built-in Anti-aliasing filter for up to 18 bits of resolution

The Honeywell 420-i Analytics Digital Converter allows you to connect a third and fourth floor node without doubling your existing cabling infrastructure. This Honeywell Analytics Digital Converter features the same level of performance and reliability as other products in the Honeywell Analytics product family.

The 420-I Analytics Digital Converter converts the low pressure signal from the 420 Series (style “B”) Proportional Pressure Transmitter to a 4 – 20 ma current output. The 420-I measures pressure ranges from 3 psig (20 kPa) to 22 psig (150 kPa) with a maximum input of +/- 100 psig (nominal). The unit is designed for use in ideal gas law applications, as well as in liquid level applications.

Easy to use, simple to install. The 420-I Analytics Digital Converter gives you access to dew point and density measurements that are normally only available for large more expensive systems. By using Honeywell’s exclusive "precision mode" technology this digital converter is able to provide higher mass density values than older analogue converters.

The Honeywell 420 Digital converter allows the customer to use their existing analog Honeywell thermostat with a new digital or smart home heating and cooling system.
