The HVFDSDFANFR5 is a VFD replacement fan to fit the following HVFQ series and other systems. It is compatible with the bimodal frame HVFQ fan motors Series B, BH, BF and BBC (220/230/240 volts). The VFD FR5 Replacement Fan replaces the existing single speed induction motor of fans FR1, FR2 and FR3 when retrofitting a variable frequency drive into the original system. The HVFDSDFANFR5 is a Smart Variable Frequency Drive (VFD). The HVFDSDFANFR5 replaces the original Flywheel, Motor and Fan. It features self diagnostic capabilities that are controlled by the VFD itself. User setup of parameters is controlled via keypad or optional switches or capability to be wired to a MicroLogix host system. Its also compatible with both standard and special mount motors.

Honeywell's HVFDSDFANFR5 may be used as an alternative to the existing power supply included with the VFD. The FR5 is for DC voltage, direct-drive use only. It does not provide unipolar current limiting or braking capability; however, it does provide a 0% - 100% speed range. This VFD replacement fan is specifically for drive model HVFD-C2.

The HVFDSDFANFR5 is a fully-capable replacement fan designed for use with the Honeywell VFD controller (P/N: B1FVR064AAC or B1FVR108AAC) when using an H, JH, HS, or HP series motors. This unit is compact in size and features the same mounting and wiring interfaces as the original fan.

The Honeywell HVFDFANFR5 is a 2-Speed, Modulating VFD replacement fan. The fan assembly is a centrifugal air mover type with a motor horsepower of 2.75 at 208 or 230 volts and within a frequency of 60 Hz.
