Pressuretrol controls oil furnaces, boilers, and water heaters. Pressuretrol controls and pressure switches are used to detect over-pressure above the set point. The pressure switch is an electrical sensor device that detects excess pressure in the system and trips a mechanism to cut off the fuel supply to the furnace.

The Pressuretrol L404T1055 Oil Break on Rise Control automatically limits the pressure to oil burner operation at a predetermined lower stage when the temperature drops below a set point on rising heat. It has a compact size and easliy mounts to any steam boiler, hot water system, or hydronic heating system with Pop-Up type starters.

If a malfunction occurs, an internal alarm sounds and an external alarm indicates the amount of product purged.
