PNEU.ACT. 8-13PSI EXT.BRACKET
This high force damper actuator is for use with variable volume air-conditioner and heat pump systems to provide fully modulating operation at 8 to 13 gallons per minute (gpm) flow. The external bracket permits direct wiring and does not require an additional bracket.
The Honeywell High Force Damper Actuator (#918B1196) with Spring Return is especially designed for volume control including variable air volume systems. This actuator has a field adjustable spring force from 8-13 psi to compensate for the varying weights of the volume controls and their springs. It is ideal for use in commercial comfort and HVAC applications, like restaurants, office buildings, schools, hospitals, hotels and retail stores.
The Honeywell MP918B1196 is a High Force Damper Actuator With Spring Return for Variable Volume Units (8 to 13 psi). It is designed to operate the variable volume damper in ducted heating and cooling systems with high static pressure. The M918B119-6 High Force Damper Actuator is used for added airflow capable of operating the heat exchanger fan, auxiliary blower fan and variable volume damper all simultaneously.
With the Honeywell High Force Damper Actuator you get maximum ventilation for both heating and cooling comfort. This two-wire, fully adjustable actuator is designed to fit most (1/8 to 1/3 HP) variable speed window mounted air conditioners with a pneumatic volume control system.
The high-force damper actuator has a return spring that gives the actuator a snap action to help the damper start moving. It is made from die-cast aluminum and can withstand up to 13 psi of force to stay in place. The spring return feature gives the actuator a positive engagement at the end of the stroke for use on spring balanced dampers and when more force is needed
The MP918 High Force Damper Actuator is designed to operate high force dampers operating with 0.09 and 0.07 spring return units. The main difference between this damper and the standard damper is the extended bracket that allows for a direct mount to the actuator. This will allow you to modify the dampers on your unit from inside the unit through your existing body or door opening.
