The 3504 is a single pole, single throw (SPST), dual pressure control with an auto-reset. The 3504 is known for its simple design and high performance.

The Johnson Controls 3504 Retrofit Dual Pressure Switch is universal, shockless, low-profile snap-in/plug-in mounting style with NEMA 1 enclosure which provides protection for up to 600 amps, 1040°C. Upstream pressure limits are adjustable by zero to 50 PSIG in one PSIG increments, down stream is 100 PSIG. The dual channel design eliminates the need for branching circuits at the compressor by providing complete control of both forward and reverse airflow directions. The 3504 has internally illuminated pilot lamps that are visible from either side for visual verification or trouble shooting.

The miniature DPDT Control provides two independently usable ON-OFF positions or a center off position. The Control may be used to automatically switch from a heating mode to a cooling mode, or vice versa, by sensing the temperature at the Control's sensor lead. The Control will automatically reset when the room thermostat calls for cooling after the discharge temperature has risen 3°C above the set point.
