This product is a 10K duct probe temperature sensor. This is a 2-wire, 4-20 mA output sensor. It has a 26 foot lead with a 3-pin JST connector at the controller end and a 5 pin JST connector for the probe at the sensor end. This is a general purpose gauge that can be used as both process and as a remote diagnostic probe for intermittent controllers, digital displays, SCADA systems, and recorders. The TE-636GV-2 10K duct probe has an adjuster screw, eliminating the need to use a wrench. This allows the user to turn the probe tighter or looser as needed without removing it from the duct orifice. It fits a 10" diameter duct. The length of the probe is 13". It has a 3/4" MNPT female pilot connection on one end and a 1/4" MNPT male pilot connection on the other end.

"10K" means this probe can measure temperature up to 10,000 FV. The probe is fitted with a short length of thin-wall stainless steel tubing. The probe is inserted into the duct and stainless steel tubing is blown out with compressed air from both ends of the tubing, thus forcing all moisture from between the facing of the probe and the wall surface. Temperature is then measured with a thermocouple that is located outside of a thin wall stainless steel casing that has been slid over thermocouple wire. The TE-636GV-2 is a Plug-N-Play temperature sensor designed for use with the Systemlink 1000 building automation system. The TE-636GV-2 detects surface temperature of objects, liquids, and gases. It has a vertical mounting range of 60 feet (18.3 meters). The sensor has both 5 kVp hiccup isolation for between the probe and controller and 10 kVp hiccup isolation for between the probe and building wiring.
