The ASCO 68668 aluminum body high pressure pilot operated fuel gas shutoff valve is a 2-way normally closed, normally open, pilot operated valve with 1-1/2" NPT pipe size and 1.75" orifice. The valve has a 27 cv flow and requires 120 V for operation. The valve body and wrench end are made from steel; the disc is made from brass for added strength and durability. The material meets FDA requirements to come in contact with foodstuff at temperatures up to 212°F (100°C).
The ASCO 68668 high-pressure normally closed (N.C.), two-way gas shutoff valve with a 1-1/2 in. pipe size is made of aluminum and brass and designed for use on residential or commercial natural gas systems. The two-way valve permits continuous flow in the normal direction and shuts off, in case of emergency, the flow out of the system into the burner regulator or furnace. ASCO Pilot Operated High Pressure Gas Shutoff Valves are used for shutting off and isolating gas supply lines in distribution systems. The valves are pilot operated valves and will isolate gas flow to a pipeline, whether it is turned on or off.
