The KLEENGUARD 412-38476 NEMESIS V30 SMKE LENS offers ANSI 8.43 durability without the use of a hard coating and is designed to resist severe scratching and abrasion caused by metal and composite bristles on common cleaning tools. Durable and scratch resistant, this lens also features an anti-rebound coating that can withstand greater than 1000 lbs/sq in of internal pressure at the base of the lens while resisting surface damage that can be caused by centrifugal force.

Our Kleenguard V30 smke lens is specially designed for Nautilus & Vertex helmet facemask helmets only. This lens does not work on other types of masks.

The V30 SMKE lens is a super-high efficiency filter for gas mask use. It offers increased protection from certain chemical and biological agents. The filter was developed by the US National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) under a Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) contract. The V30 designation was derived from a qualitative assessment of the threat levels from the various agents the filter has been tested against from both a mortality and incapacitation standpoint, as well as protection factors relative to other commercially available filters.
