The traditional square corner residential deadbolt strike plate is offered in a variety of finishes to complement your existing Kwikset hardware. The square corner design is appropriate for use on exterior wood, metal, or masonry doors. They are also the only choice for three-point locking applications.

Use the 85072-15 Deadbolt Strike to replace a worn or broken deadbolt strike plate at the end of a surface mounted latch bolt installation. This product is compatible with old work applications; it requires no additional hardware for installation, but the heads of the latch bolts on your door will be visible.

The Satin Nickel Square Corner Deadbolt Strike is interchange­able with other systems. In addition, it can be used with either the 650, 660 and 665-Series Backplates and Keylink Mechanical Trim - all sold separately.

For certain doors, you probably need door hardware that is a "kicker." That's where this Kwikset lockset comes in! It's designed to be a deadbolt, and also gives the door additional security against kick-in break-ins. This lockset screws into the edge of your door (instead of being recessed into your door). The scratches it may leave on your door over time is outweighed by it's useful against intruders.
