Our 335514 KwikSet Privacy Round Pocket Lock provides industry-leading security; its unique construction requires a special weapon to break through the deadbolt. The 335514 is designed to fit a standard 2-1/8 in. (54 mm) backset and also features a round pocket (non-mortise) installation option for use in double and single doors.

The Kwikset privacy round pocket door lock is designed to cover the strike plate while the door is open. This helps prevent someone from pushing in the edge of the door and entering your home. Featuring a 12-inch non-rekeyable throw, this privacy lock provides superior protection for homes and offices during renovations and construction.

The KwikSet Privacy round pocket door lock is for use on doors that swing inwards. It comprises five rotating tumblers, a body and case made of zinc. The tumblers are arranged in a circular pocket and are mounted on an axle slightly larger than their diameter. When rotated, as when the correct key is inserted, they enter holes in the body of the lock to engage elements inside. When these elements are engaged, they can turn the locking bolt to its locked and unlocked positions. The bolt extends through holes in the arm of the case which are closed by the doors when it is shut.
