Adjusting the pivot arm can cause lever to bind and could result in broken key or door failure. – Remove the existing keys from cylinders using a pin, paper clip or needle nose pliers. – Reusing a key from an old lock set can damage or break a lock cylinder. – If you own a Kwikset product and have your old key code(s), please enter them below instead of requesting a "P" stamp to prevent issues. – Before installing, inspect doorset for proper operation and replace damaged parts as required.

This KWIKSET "Key Gauge" is for use with KWIKSET Levers except DOORKMEISTER . It is also for use with all Kwikset Decorative Levers. Kwikset Model

Universal cylinders can be opened by turning the key either direction. They are used with any brand of locks and work with the vast majority of existing locking devices. Use this key to rekey any Kwikset, Schlage or Weiser lock we manufacture which uses a cylinder with a universal keying slot (see list on back cover of this brochure for compatible locks). Rekeying an entire building is simple and easy: replace the pins in the lock cylinders with those supplied in each kit and rekey all of your locks at once. You can also control access to specific rooms or areas of your home as you wish
