These Kwikset 785-26D-RCAL-RCS Series 77 Mortise lock sets meet or exceed the current performance specifications for ANSI/BHMA A156.5 and most applicable sections of the 2007 Federal Specification FF-P-116(F) for Mortise Locks, Deadbolts And Thumbturns, Door Handles And Knobs, Cam Locks and Cylindrical Locks, and the 2002 and current editions of the California Building Code.

The Kwikset 785-26D Latch is a mortised latch that features an adjustable backset ¾" (19mm) to 2-5/8" (70mm) and an adjustable latch throw 1½" (38mm) to 2¾" (70mm). It features a ¼ turn, automatic, retractable, self-locking deadbolt. The deadbolt automatically engages when the door closes and automatically retracts when the handle is tugged in the opposite direction. The Kwikset 785-26D Latch has a dark bronze finish.
