Kwikset 81691-15 deadbolts are made with 1/4" hardened steel, 5-pin cylinder, spring loaded latch, and indicators: when the latch is unlocked it retracts into the door keeping it well concealed. It is designed for easy installation in a new or pre-existing bored door hole (2-3/8" or 2-3/16"). The deadbolt has a strong cylindrical lock body that resists picking and other attacks. All parts are accessible from the outside without removing the lock from the door.
