The Kwikset 83383 Key Control is a key control deadbolt lock featuring a cut keyway which allows the use of most standard and replacement keys. The lock offers 4-in-1 locking with privacy, restricted, guest, and master pins. There is a metal key control housing on the back of this deadbolt for storing one extra control key. The control key works to prevent rotation of the plug without being removed so that you can have easy access to the deadbolt cylinder. This product meets ANSI/BHMA Grade 2 standards.

The Kwikset key control lock helps you protect your home from unauthorized entry by allowing you to cut new keys or re-key existing Schlage, Kwikset or Weiser 5 pin cylinder deadbolts. This product is not compatible with Schlage and Weiser smart locks.
