With the SL3000, KWIKSET® breaks new ground in residential deadbolt designs. This revolutionary new deadbolt sets a whole new standard for security and convenience. It has its origins in the U.S. military’s Sargent & Greenleaf 3000 series of high security bank vault locks. Features innovative Direct Drive™ technology that provides direct actuation of both deadbolt latching and boltwork operation, creating key-security and enhancing operator convenience.

The KwikSet SL3000 is a Grade 1 deadbolt featuring drill resistant, key resistant (strip), vertical rod drive and optional exit devices. KwikSet has traditionally offered hard-to-pick cylinders and requires no special tools or knowledge to operate. The KwikSet SL3000 provides consistent quality in its construction and materials to deliver security year after year.

The Kwikset SL3000GV smart key adjustable deadbolt is compatible with all Kwikset deadbolt handles (except ARX).

The SmartKey Security System is the only re-keyable system that starts with a regular key and allows you to re-key it to your existing key. Additionally, the Kwikset Deadbolt automatically locks behind you after you turn the key. The Kwikset SL3000GV-15V1 is an entry level deadbolt keyless system, it uses a standard 9 volt alkaline battery and the lock will display a low battery status with a flashing LED light. The product has a nickel finish. The Kwikset SL3000GV-15V1 is a Grade 2 Security Level 1 per ANSI/BHMA A156.26 Grade 2 Security Level 1.
