The Honeywell 110862 Vaporstat Controller, 0-16 fl. oz. switch is SPST and is designed for use as a continuously rated snap action vapor controller which provides local control of heating and air conditioning systems with automatic refueling. Manufactured under ISO9001 quality standards for use in commercial applications, it may be used in conjunction with Honeywell VVFB, VBG, VBV, VBT, NB6B valves to trim excess fuel vapors from fuels containing up to 10% flammable vapors with a maximum LEL of 5%. Vaporstat is a spdt (single pole double throw) manual on/off controller which is designed as an economical controller for use in humidifiers. When humidifier water is below the desired set point, the controller shuts off power to the humidifier heater. When humidifier water rises above a set point, the vaporstat turns on power to the control heater, allowing steam to flow through the valve into the heating element housing. Vaporstat must be used with a compatible Honeywell Hygrostat control heater.
