Add precise control of water temperature to your spa or hot tub with the Honeywell 2230 Aquastat. The adjustable buoyancy air valve/thermostat operates spa heaters below and above 5 feet of water. the remote bulb varies water temperature within 1/10 of a degree, and includes a heavy-duty stainless steel capillary for extended life and weather protection.

The Honeywell 2230 Aquastat automatically regulates water temperature of circulated hot water to the proper range for whatever use you have. The remote bulb acts as a separate control to regulate the temperature of the water traveling through the tubing, if necessary. A different bulb can be connected to this valve to produce temperatures up to 140F.

The Honeywell 2230 is an automatic aquastat that opens on rise with factory-set differential of 66 and capillary length of 5-1/2" as standard. Capacitance range is 5 to 820 mm2.

The 2230 intermediate base valve features a Diff. 66'' capillary SPDT, remote bulb and a 180F temperature differential.

We've combined several functions in this innovative control – an on/off switch, a differential controller, and a miniature aquastat. The bulb-wax element remains within the control body while the rod extends through it. Adjustment is through the knob on the end of the rod, which raises or lowers the wick inside the bulb-wax element. Maximum setting: 120° F at 25 mm Hg minimum; minimum setting: 68° F at 25 mm Hg maximum.

The HONEYWELL A2230 is a remote bulb, air-temperature control with a 66" capillary for residential and commercial applications. The on rise differential of the control allows the compressor to start at lower temperatures.
