The Honeywell L8124C-1003 Triple Aquastat is used to adjust the system water temperature.

The Honeywell L8124C1003 Aquastat is used as an automatic fast-response switch to control humidifiers and dehumidifiers. The device suspends operation when the humidity in the surrounding area reaches a predetermined level, then reactivates once dry air is sensed (for humidifiers), or when damp air is detected (for dehumidifiers).

The L8124C-1003 model includes a rewireable safety float bowl, and is used as a replacement for the L8101C-1003. This device contains 3 temperature sensors (T1, T2, T0) that are set in an airtight thermostatic cell that measures the temperature of the water to maintain it at or near an average of 100°F. The L8124C-1003 must be mounted upright in an open area where it can be exposed to room air easily. Without exposure to room air, the unit will not function properly.
