The Honeywell 51300 L8148E-1299 high limit aquastat relay with 4-1/2” capillary is used with the Honeywell Aquastats series in industrial applications. This relay includes a 50VA transformer, 4-1/2” capilliary and a plug-in field connection location.

The Honeywell 50VA Transformer and High Limit Aquastat Relay together make up the control unit for the water heater. The High Limit Aquastat Relay fits into the control box at the top of the water heater. The High Limit Aquastat Relay senses when the temperature of the water heater approaches or exceeds set point and turns on a gas valve to prevent overheating. If there is a problem with an electronic control board, they can usually be replaced without replacing the whole heating

The Honeywell Aquastat Relay provides economically effective shutdown of water heating components when critical high and low heat limits are exceeded. A separate relay is provided for each high limit device. A switch and transformer are included to actuate the relays.
