The Lennox CONTROL MODULE 5.0 10Y47 is an air conditioning control module that includes all installation hardware required to connect the system to your home. This control installs in addition to the existing primary control to ensure that your HVAC system runs efficiently. This replacement unit controls a variety of features within this system, including high-efficiency gas furnace featuring 9,000/11,000 BTU output and R410A refrigerant, AC compressor, and high-efficient electric heat strip featuring one setting for year-round comfort.

The Control Module 5.0 augments the capabilities of earlier generation Control Modules and provides even more energy savings by operating in conjunction with the multiple air handling units associated with a Lennox package unit. This type of physical connection is known as "On-Site pairing" and is unique to the Control Module 5.0

The Control Module 5.0 is a Lennox proprietary (patent-pending) hardware and software solution for residential gas furnaces. The G96DV and G97DV variable-speed motors in the Control Module 5.0 are used in the new Hybrid Heat Control Systems to provide two-stage operation when the furnace blower is installed
